“Save the Ocean” by Bethany Stahl

Celebrate World Oceans Day on the 8th of June by reading “Save the Ocean” by Bethany Stahl with your class!

In this award-winning childrens’ story, your students will meet Kaleisha the mermaid and her sea turtle friend named Agwe. After swimming across a patch of jellyfish and having a feast, Agwe accidentally swallows something that was not a tasty jellyfish at all. Together, Kaleisha, Agwe and the land people, learn about the problem of plastic pollution and work together to save the ocean!

At The WildLife Movement, we believe in the power of working together to positively impact the environment. We have created a free lesson plan for “Save the Ocean” for you to use in your classroom to get the most out of this wonderful story.
