“Save the Arctic” by Bethany Stahl

At the WildLife Movement, we believe in the potential for children to have an impact on the world around them on a global scale. We have created a free lesson plan for “Save the Arctic” to help you teach your students how their actions can have an impact on a fragile ecosystem on the other side of the planet!

In this wonderful story, your students will meet Nanu, a hungry polar bear searching for his dinner. After searching everywhere but finding no food, Nanu becomes friends with Toklo, a beluga whale, and Ahnah, a girl from the local village. With the help of Ahnah’s grandma and people all around the world, the newly found group of friends work together to help “Save the Arctic”!
